Hello, it’s nice to meet you, I’m Janessa.(she/her)

I believe in intentional rest and play as a vital source of connection to self and others. I pair wisdom practices like Yoga with modern resources to create opportunity for self acceptance and growth. With over 1,000 hours of teaching experience, I share from a space of curiosity and openness, knowing that wellbeing practices look different for everyone. My goal is to create a heartfelt experience where you can practice authentically within the support of my offerings. As a forever student, I’m always expanding my understanding of yoga traditions or holistic practices and have over 300 certified hours. When not in the studio with you, I’m out in the woods admiring trees with the dog or reading with the cats I belong to.

Tailored Tools for Embodied Connection

Intentional Movement

Yoga asana and somatic patterns with a goal in mind. A full body practice attuned to the heart and mind. Strengthening and opening.

Yin Yoga

A practice designed to work with connective tissues of the body resulting in joint health, tension release, and calmness of mind. Spacious and grounding.

Aerial Yoga

Explore the benefits of spinal decompression and inversion with the support of a silk hammock. Uplifting and playful ending with a soothing rest cocooned in the hammock.

Sound Experience

A resource to invite relaxation and subtle body introspection. Crystal bowls, chimes, and other sound instruments are used to cultivate rest and meditation.

Breath & Meditation

Insight, compassion based, body scan, pranayama, visual and concentration building practices to weave throughout daily life.

Restorative Sessions

A container to cultivate deep rest through long held shapes with soft props to support the body. A recovery practice and aid to the modern lifestyle.

One-On-One Sessions

An individualized time to expand your personal wellbeing toolkit. We’ll work together to create support for your lifestyle and current needs. Online or in person.

Private Classes & Events

Specialized classes or workshops for small groups, team bonding, and corporate events. Or if you just want to unwind with your friends in a heartfelt way.

Public Studio Classes

You can find me weekly at local yoga studios in Bellingham, WA.
